I know that a lot of people didn't care  for this movie, and thought it was trying to hard to be like the originals and it was kind of. I know it didn't have much action and it was a little long and boring at parts, but I thought it was a very good movie overall. Kevin Spacey was a very big improvement from Gene Hackman. as Lex Luther. Lois not so much, but I still think Erica Durance is the Lois Lane to beat. I actually saw this movie before the older Superman's so it kind of has a special place in my heart. I just started watching "Smallville" that year. and I always liked superman, but 2006 was the year he became something "Super" to me. 7.8
