and my Number one least favorite crown winner is..

Identity Thief. it was just stupid, for one thing they try and make a very serious thing seem not all that bad (someone steeling your identity) and it was just done in not a very good why, it wasn't funny, I had to skip one part that got really gross and vulgar. and then in the end they tried to turn it unto a drama? what it was just not a good movie at all, poorly written, not good, not funny.

2# worst of 2013

If you liked this movie at all do not read!!!

Now I should have known better going in, the trailer didn't look good, but it was directed by Brian Singer the director of the best X-Men Films, and it had Ewan McGregor in it. this movie end up being just awful.
it was so stinking corny and the giants were so disgusting and gross and fake looking I couldn't handle them and the story was blah the characters, aside from Ewan McGregor who was the only saving grace of this film, were bland and I didn't care about them. bad bad movie. awful

2.5/10

Elysium, was a movie I was actually really excited for, the trailers made it look a cool and fun action sci-fi film, kind of like Halo. but instead it ended up being some guys healthcare and immigration views thrown in your face, not to mention boring, depressing, and full of unnecessary language. would not recommend. it had some nice visuals though.

4# least favorite of 2013

The Call, about a teenage girl who gets abducted by a serial killer and her only chance it a through a ceel phone call from 911 agent played by Halle Berry.  while I thought it was intense and even mildly enjoyed it the first time, I haven't wanted to watch it again and the ending was really stupid. it was just not that great

4/10
okay I decided to start by listing my 5 least favorite films of 2013

Remember all film is subjective and  this is just my personal opinion.

so starting with 5..

I wanted to like this movie, and was even a little excited for it, but upon watching it, I fond it inconsistent, at parts it felt like it was for kids and the they have a guy rip someones heart out and eat it! (gross!) and I'm tired of seeing Johnny Deep prance around in clown costumes, not to mention he looked bored and you could imagine him think $$$ in the back of his head. plus they may as well have called it Tonto and the Lone Ranger, cause that's what it was. I just didn't find it very entertaining or funny. the train sequence at the end was kind of cool, but that's about it.

Hello everyone,  hope you all had a merry Christmas! I know I did, it's been a while since my last post, with the holidays, I've been  hanging out with family do busy shopping and stuff , I just haven't have much time to blog. but now I am back and preparing my 2013 in review list, I will give a list of my favorite list of 2013 movies, probably top 10. maybe 15 because there were a lot that I really liked, there I of course some movies I haven't got to see yet that I really want to and probably will see soon. (Walter Mitty, Saving Mr. Banks.) and then there are some,  I was dying to see but never played anywhere remotely close to where I live (12 Years a Slave). and some I just didn't make it to (Captain Phillips) so I'm trying to decide if I should wait a bit or just get started, really wanted to get it out before 13's end. plus I'll do my worst films of 2013, (only like 3 that I really didn't like so it might just be bottom 3) most disappointing (not necessarily worst but my expectations were this high ^^ and the movie was like down there V.) I've only seen 33 movies this year so not that many to talk about, but there's only like 5 I think that could make my top 10 that I haven't seen. and most of those seems unlikely. plus I'm going to be doing movies I'm looking forward to in 2014. It looks like an interesting year. a lot of movies I really want to see, but not really amazing looking slate, but then again 2013 didn't look as strong as 2012 thinking back. and I actually thought it ended up having a better slate of movies when all is said and done. so just little snippet for you guys to sink your teeth into. see you later!

and my Number 1# favorite superhero film of all time is...

Sorry Elijah.. The Avenger is an example of a perfect balance of Action, humor drama and just awesomeness for a film in the works for about 5 years.. it needed to deliver and it did big time. a movie with 6 main heroes is not a easy feat to pull and they managed to give each character time to shine (expect maybe Hawkeye :( ) but it's just such a fine action packed film. true I may not like as much as the first day a saw it. but it's just lovely and the best Superhero film ever made to date.. if you haven't seen Avengers yet you must check it out!

I Believe there's a hero in all of us... Spider-Man two, is a case where pretty much everything went right. the story flowed perfectly.. the action was up a notch some amazing action sequences... And the best superhoro inspirational line ever.. said by Aunt May! it just makes you want to be a better person!.. the humor is great in this, Peter just keeps getting bad luck after bad luck and gives up being spidy all together for a time.. but yeah. the one weakness it had was probably the villain, he just came off as slightly cheesy to me.. but just an amazing film...

I know this should be number 1# but after much deliberation. I just found one thing that bothered me enough about this movie to keep it from being 1# or 2 I guess... don't get me wrong I still love this movie.
Herny Cavill is the best superman to grace the big screen, he's fantastic. the cinematographic is amazing. even Amy Adam's Lois lane grew on me.. but she could be just a bit more spunky.(Not really Adams fault, she is actually one of my favorite actresses) some amazing visuals.. the reason why is even though first hour is almost pure bliss. the last hour is three major action sequences that all have amazing parts to them. but they all go on SOOO long that it's a case where less would be more.. and it makes the pacing a little disjointed and the destruction of the buildings it's pretty much my number 1# pet peeve in action movies it makes me sick to see things get destroyed in movies just for the sake of destroying them.. it is almost forgivable. in Man of Steel, because there are two super powered beings battling it out. so some destruction is understandable and it not "Just" the sake of destroying things" but it's just a bit too far.. if 20 mins of action had been taken out of this film and focused on story and character development.  this would be almost a perfect superhero film. I'm okay with him(spolier) killing Zod. one of the best parts actually because of the emotion and remorse superman felt for having to do it. LOVED the final scene. sets up perfectly for a great sequel... that we probably we will never get because some moron decided to stuff it with a thousand other superheroes.. and choose the worst casting choice ever of a certain comic hero who is dear to me.. but enough with my rant...  this is still a awesome movie and should be seen.!

I know some people find this the weakest in the trilogy.. but let me put it this way.. I thought the "Dark Knight" series was over rated.. until I saw "The Dark Knight Rises" and maybe something has to do with me being older and my taste in film changing. but I just thought The Dark Knight Rises was a super fun action pack Super hero film about the caped crusader coming out of retirement once again to save Gotham. Christain Bale's Best Bruce Wayne performance in my opinion Anne Hathaway is great as Selena Kyle aka Catwomen, and let's not forget Tom Hardy as Bane. he was just awesome. if maybe a little more humorous to me then he was meant to be. sure it had a couple plot holes. but I love it none the less.

9.6/10
Sorry, it's been such a gap in between releasing my top 5 list.. and part of that is because I couldn't decide what order they went in in fact 5-1 I like all almost identically, so it's basically five number 1's. almost.
there is something each of them have that is amazing. but I actually believe we have not gotten are clear cut "Perfect" Superhero film, as of yet. they all have just enough flaws to keep me from give a perfect score. but are all fantastic amazing films, also remember that this is just my opinion of what I personally liked the most.

and without further a do my number 5# is

Spider-Man the first film to official kick start the Gold age of Superhero films in full swing released in 2002 it made over $400 Million Dollars at the north american Box Office was the highest grossing super hero film all time until the Dark Knight was released in 2008 making over $530m. it was the first super hero film personally that got me into this genre. and will always have a special place in my heart. I like it better then "The Amazing Spider-Man" even though it may not necessarily have been done better. but I just love it. Toby Maguire is great as Peter Parker, which is an actor outside of "Spider-Man" I don't even care for that much. but he's great as spider-Man. the score is fantastic, much better then that of "Amazing Spider-Man" and it is quite funny and touching. it just feels classic superhero and that's way I love it so much
